How To Monetize and Make Money From Your Youtube Videos

There are a ton of scams on the internet on how you can make thousands of dollars in a few days. This is just absolutely wrong. On the internet there are no real get rich quick schemes that actually work.

Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine behind Google (It also happens to be owned by Google as well). With this being said, there is a huge opportunity to use Youtube to make money.

Frequently Asked Questions about Making Money on Youtube:

Question 1: Will I make a lot of money?

Answer: The opportunity to make a good amount of money is there BUT it will take some time and it is not going to happen over night.

Question 2: How much will I make?

Answer: This all depends on if you stick with it, and how good your content is. (You could make as little as a dollar and as much as you are willing to put in the time for).

Question 3: Do I have to be a partner to monetize my videos?

Answer: NO

Below, I have listed the steps you need to take to monetize your Youtube channel.

[box type=”info”] You have to have at least 3-5 videos uploaded on your channel in order to monetize your videos.[/box]

First, you must login to your youtube account and click on your channel name in the upper right hand corner and select settings.

Once you are in your settings panel you will see monetization option in the lower left hand corner of the screen, find this option and click on it.

After you click on the monetization settings you will see a big blue button in the middle of the screen that says “Enable”. Click on this and it will take you to a terms and service page. Accept all of googles terms and you will be ready to monetize your videos.

Once you have your account set up for monetization you will see an option after you have uploaded a video to place ads on it. You will need to go into this option and enable ads for each video you upload.

Go to video manager from your channel and you will see an option next to your uploaded videos with a dollar sign. Click on this option and it will take you into the monetization options. This will be where you will come each time you want to place ads on a video.

When you are in the monetization settings you will see a paragraph stating that you own all of the content in your video and there is no copyright material in your video. If this is true, click on the “Got It” button”. This will now place ads on that specific video.

[box type=”warning”] Remember, you must own all of the content in your video OR have permission from the content creator to put ads on your videos. If you do not abide by Google’s rules and regulations you will be at risk to lose your Youtube Account.[/box]

Also, you must have an Google Adsense account set up in order to place ads and collect your money that you have earned.

A few months ago a site called Pinterest was revealed and has since become a social media giant. One of the main reasons behind this is because of the visual nature of Pinterest and the unique feel of the site. Info graphics have been around for a while BUT with Pinterest it has been taken to a different level. If you go to the Pinterest home page and scroll down almost 40-60 percent of the pins will involve some type of info graphic.

What is an Info Graphic?

Ok, so we need to first start out by stating what an Info Graphic is. An info graphic is a visual information sheet. It is an image that contains numbers, percentages, pictures, and much more. It is a visual way of explaining a topic.

As you can see in this image it contains numbers, graphs, and much more. This is a fantastic way to learn about a topic as well as a fantastic tool to generate traffic back to your site. An interesting and well designed info graphic can do amazing things as far as traffic to your site is concerned.

How can info graphics generate traffic?

In today’s SEO world with google changing the game every couple of months the best link juice is STILL links back to your site. Lets say you post a well done info graphic onto Pinterest and it gets re-pinned 25 times. That is 25 different instances of your link! This is a great source of not only traffic but link juice as well. When info graphics are shared via pinterest and any other social sharing service it is creating links back to YOU.

How do you make GOOD Info Graphics

Making good info graphics involves more than throwing up some numbers and pretty bar graphs. The content is still KING. If you are wanting to design your own info graphic there are a few ways of doing this.

I believe that this trend is here to stay. When you are talking about how people learn today we are becoming more and more of a visual learning society. We want our information in bite size form so we can digest it and move on. Info graphics are a quick way of gathering information about a topic rather than reading a one thousand word post. How To Download Youtube Videos (Free and Easy)

Youtube has millions of videos uploaded a month, and is full of great content. In some cases you may want to download a youtube video to use for personal projects. In this tutorial I will show you an easy way on how to download youtube videos to your hard drive.

1.) First, you will need to locate the Youtube video that you want to download.

2.) Copy the URL for that video (Command C for Mac and Control C for Windows).

3.) Go to www.zamzar.com

4.) Once you are at Zamzar.com you will see a tab that says “Download Videos”, click this link.

5.) In step one paste the Youtube video URL link that you copied earlier. (Command P for Mac and Control P for Windows).

5.) In step two you will select the format you want the video to be. (MP4, WMV, etc.)

6.) In step three type your email address in the box.

7.) Once you have done all of this, click on the convert button in step four.

8.) Once you have selected convert you will see the video being uploaded. As soon as the video is uploaded you will see a message that says “We will send the video to the provided email address.”

9.) Depending on how large the file is it may take 5-30 minutes for the video to be sent to your email.

10.) Once the video has been sent to your email, just download the video to your computer and you are good to go!

[box] In this tutorial I will be showing you how to convert pages documents into word documents. Pages is Apple’s version of Microsoft Word. It is a fantastic word processor that is part of the iWork suite that includes Pages (Microsoft Word), Numbers (Microsoft Excel), and Keynote (Microsoft Powerpoint). At it’s core pages is a great word processor that gets the job done.[/box]

In the business and education sphere, a lot of times if you are a Mac user you have to find work arounds because your peers most likely use Windows. If you own a Mac and use Pages as your primary word processor you will most likely need to convert a pages document into a compatiable word document. Below, I have listed a step by step process on how to do this.

1.) Open up your document (Duh!)

2.) Select File > Export

3.) Next, select Word document and click next.

4.) Give your document the name you want and then click export

Facebook Tutorial: How To Delete Your Facebook Account

Facebook is an absolute internet GIANT, but there are times in life when we must part ways with our social media friends and we just want to get away from farmville requests and people randomly “Poking” us. In this tutorial I will show you how to easily delete your Facebook account.

* DISCLAIMER – You can reactivate your Facebook account at a later date if you are feeling remorse for this action. (You will need your Facebook password and username to do this).

1.) First you will need to be logged into your Facebook account

2.) Once you are logged into your Facebook account go to https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account

3.) Once on this page it will ask you to type in your Facebook password. Type in your password.

4.) Facebook will then ask you ONE more time if you really want to delete your precious Facebook account! Select ok and BOOM you are now in Facebook freedom.

Again, as I have already stated you can reinstate your Facebook account if you want to at a later date. Once you delete your facebook account all of your information, posts, pictures, status’ and everything related to your Facebook account is deleted. If you would like to create another Facebook account with the same email information you can, BUT it will then permanently delete all of your previous information on your old account.

The question you will need to ask yourself before you delete your Facebook account is “Why am I doing this?” If you have all of your friends and business pages linked to your account all of this will be deleted as well.

Once you have deleted your Facebook account have fun and enjoy the Freedom. Go check out Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, and many others.
